Use Cases for IEC Lock PDUs
IEC lock outlets provide secure power supply to equipment by preventing accidental disconnection during regular cable maintenance and servicing post-installation. Once power cables have been plugged into an IEC Lock outlet, the end point connector is locked into place to prevent it from coming loose.
IEC lock PDUs are ideal for powering essential electrical equipment such as uninterrupted power supply (UPS), routers, and server systems, which are designed to run continuously. IEC lock outlets are also suitable for securing cables from equipment that moves or vibrates during operation.
